Group Therapy

Supervision & Therapist Support

We offer creative, integrative supervision to experienced and qualified therapists, trainees, and other non-counselling professionals.

We provide a safe and supportive professional environment in which you can bring your client work, explore ethical issues, understand and manage risk, develop professionally, and explore any personal issues that may be impacting your work.

You will have a collaborative space for reflection, within contracted boundaries, in one-to-one and/or group sessions which can take place, face-to-face or online.

We are committed to your self-care and will support you in considering how best to balance the challenges of being a therapist with the demands of your own life.

In an increasingly difficult world, therapy work has become more demanding both personally and professionally.
With this in mind, Terry and Duane at HereToConnect have created a space for therapists to come together, feel safe and connected enough to have vulnerable conversations

Our aim is to provide therapeutic support for issues including:

If you are a therapist or trainee therapist looking for somewhere to find some additional help where you can discuss your client work, your continuing professional development, and your self-care practice, Duane and Terry have set up a safe and collaborative space where supportive conversations take place in a small group setting.

Because this is a group in support of the general well-being of therapists rather than just group supervision, Terry and Duane will not take on any clinical responsibility for client work.

How We Work

Initial Contact

After initial contact by phone or email we will arrange to meet you for an assessment. Your initial session will allow us to meet and get to know each other and begin to explore the concerns you want to bring to therapy. This will help you decide if we feel like the right people for you and we will also assess if we are the right people to meet your needs.

1

First Session

We will agree when and how often we will meet, we normally offer 1 or 2 weekly sessions of 50 minutes each. Together we will review on a regular basis how the therapy is progressing to check that your needs are being met.

2

Our Experience

We have experience working within the NHS, public and voluntary sectors, as well as running busy private practices. We work within a diverse cultural community with a range of different people from many walks of life, backgrounds and circumstances.
